The full name of This Indian International cricketer known as Ishan Kishan is Ishan Pranav Kumar Pandey Kishan. He made his international debut in March 2021 against England in which he won the player of the match award. He plays for Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League in domestic cricket.
During India’s tour of Bangladesh in December 2022, Kishan scored 210 runs from 131 balls to beat Chris Gayle’s record and went on to become the youngest and the fastest player to score a double century in an ODI. Kishan has been a part of 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup team and 2023 World Cup team.
Ishan took a break during Indian cricket team’s tour of South Africa in November last year, due to mental fatigue and some family commitments. As per reports, now Ishan has been spotted training with newly announced captain of Mumbai Indians Hardik Pandya in Baroda and his reluctance to play the first-class cricket and focus on IPL 2024, has come to the notice of BCCI officials.
Rahul Dravid when asked about the return of Ishan Kishan also said that Ishaan definitely needs to play some cricket before returning back in the Indian cricket team.

The decision makers of BCCI feel that Indian cricketers today are more inclined towards cash-rich IPL auction pools and don’t want to play any red ball cricket. So, there is need to take strict actions now so that the group of young cricketers don’t make playing IPL, a habit, told by a senior official to PTI.
On behalf of all the related discussions, it will be made mandatory for the players to play at least 3-4 Ranji Games in order to be eligible for entry in IPL auction pool and to play in IPLs.
